Social waterfowl and general duck about town
Ellen Terris Brenner has worked at everything from dishwasher to computer geek to parish minister to band road manager to social activist, getting into all sorts of interesting (mis)adventures along the way. She is a graduate of the Clarion West Writer's Workshop as well as a couple of fancy-schmancy universities in Boston. Ellen currently makes her home in San Diego, where she busies herself with writing, theatre, spoken word performance, gourmet cooking, following the exploits of various of her musician friends, and random assorted computer-geekeries. She can be found on-line in many of the usual on-line places using the handle "mizducky."
Writing, theatre, and spoken word performance; gourmet/healthy cookery and weight management; rock music (classic, plus a very few current obscure cult artists); anime (especially Lupin III); alternative culture of all kinds (especially pagan, queer, and artsy); leftwing hippy-dippy pacifist politics; mystical woo-woo spirituality.
